Synopsis
Also known as "Great Teacher Onizuka". Eikichi Onizuka's main goal in life is to become a teacher. Begin from a third-rate college, he finds his dream difficult to accomplish. But when the Director of Seirin Academy hires Onizuka, he is ecstatic that he finally accomplished his dream. Well that is until he learns that his class is a bunch of trouble-makers. Onizuka has to use what skill he has to make these children behave, even if it means using his knowledge of karate. This is a great drama involving immaturity and great wisdom all together. Throw in a bit of romance, fooling around, and lesson learning and you get what is GTO.
